The Linda Richardson Harper Foundation, founded 15 years ago in 2002, provides financial support for programs that develop children’s potential.
The LRH Foundation supports educational, cultural, and sports programs that provide unique and positive educational experiences to financially disadvantaged and physically or emotionally challenged children and young adults up to 21 years of age.
These programs include:
- Education: Programs that help prepare participants for future careers through formal classroom training, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, real work experiences, hands-on teaching, or field trips.
- Culture: Programs that provide participants with exposure to a variety of music, theater, writing, literature, sculpture, and global experiences.
- Sports: Programs that teach participants teamwork, discipline, and leadership.
The foundation is currently reviewing applications for its 2017 spring grants.
